Children have been my life, even before I had any of my own. I know that we are really pushing it, age-wise, but I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to have at least one more, maybe two. Alan is torn. I think if the finances were better, he would like ONE more (not two). But it looks like we will have to be satisfied with our 3, who I thank God for everyday!

Still, there's a little part of me that prays, God, if we are meant to have another child, YOU will have to make it happen! I guess I haven't given up hope completely!Veronicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05478038798658860658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3368757160216715335.post-13568868636024946402010-04-05T21:46:28.515-04:002010-04-05T21:46:28.515-04:00Hey friend-o-mine!

When we married we planned to be DINKs (duel income, no kids) but after several years of marriage we decided to have one...then 5 years later we decided for another....5 years later God decided that we were not complete and we were blessed with another. IT is funny becuase if we felt about family and family size now when we 1st got married I am sure we would have more. 3 is a LOT of children in both of our extended families (both have many, many onlies or 2 max so they have really freaked on us with JUST 3). Anyway...I have had periods of mourning the children we will not have but am at peace that God is in control and HE blessed us with 3 amazing, wonderful special gifts and I am content in that...though, at times I do long for my season of full time parenting to never end.
